Yog Sutra For Life

Purity of the mind cannot be achieved without purity of body, as mind and body are interlinked and one gets affected by the other. Both purity of mind and body can be achieved only through “Yoga”. If one wishes holistic health, it can be achieved through the practice of Asanas And Pranayams. According to the yogic theory, pain is nature’s warning of accumulation of poison in your body through food, so pay close attention to what you put on your platter. One needs to concentrate on Food, Environment, Rest, Thoughts. Also, spare some time daily to analyse and reflect.

Nature has its way of giving you signs but modern man does not pay close attention to the warning signs issued by the nature. To achieve rapid results many practice Yoga. And to attain the best results they are advised to refrain themselves from foods rich in acids, salts, mustards, bitter foods, fried foods and meat. Keeping purity in thinking is also advisable. One should totally abandon pride and enemity. And as ‘Prevention is better than cure’ eating fresh fruits and raw veggies is a good idea. For overall nourishment and prevention of disease it is good to eat nuts, whole wheat and milk products along with fruits and vegetables. The pumping organ heart is always at work and doesn’t rest at all so it is a good idea to avoid strenuous exercise which can exert it further. The main purpose of exercises is to increase the circulation and more intake of oxygen. This can be achieved by simple movements of Spinal cord and various body parts and with deep breathing and without any violent movement of the muscle.
